HAGAR QIM RESTAURANT
Hagar Qim Restaurant stands alongside Hagar Qim Temples (3500 years BC). The restaurant itself has its own car park within its grounds and offers magnificent views of the south coast.
Hagar Qim Restaurant offers a high standard variety of food such as five star buffets, fantastic house platters, a la cart menu which is change twice a week and includes fresh local fish & shellfish.
The Restaurant was built a long time ago and tries to retain a lot of the old character of the building in keeping with the environment that it stands in. Never the less under the very astute eye of its proprietor Jane Cini she has transformed what was a rundown place into a venue of entertainment chattering for weddings, delegations, staff parties and buffets.
Into the kitchen now were the food is prepared by one of Malta's top chefs Charles Brincat and where they are very conscious of its traditional fair which is reflected in the amount of customers that pass through its doors week after week by foreign and Maltese people alike.
Weekend offers something of a lively and dancing atmosphere especially during the summer months, most of which is outside on the large terrace with panoramic views across the island taking in villages of well known architectural sculpture like Zurrieq, Qrendi, Siggiewi and many more. During the winter months entertainment still carries on, but within the restaurant itself which holds up to 350 people seated and 1,500 to 2,000 people standing.
Hagar Qim food variety various from suckling pig (by requested) cooked in a special oven, homemade pizza, anti pasta which contains twenty two different types of items and includes two lovely pasta dishes. Meat and fish freshly guaranteed together with finger foods for events and parties and a buffet which includes twenty six items.
The restaurant has been renovated to a high class standard offering a relaxed, quite place to enjoy any type of event.
